No, only active personal accounts are supported on Eva.

You can open an Equity bank account with Eva in an instant. Simply message Eva and type “open account”. You will be prompted to provide your:

  • National ID number
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Phone number

That’s all! Follow the steps provided by Eva and you’ll have your Equity account in an instant.

EVA currently supports British English and can understand phrases or greetings in common slang.

While Eva’s vocabulary is constantly growing to accommodate and recognize more common phrases, soon other languages used across Equity bank subsidiaries such as French and Swahili will be supported.

Currently Eva supports transacting from only one account – the one used when setting up Eva.
